We understand that our oldest groups (those 11 year olds going into 6th grade) are at the age where they’re ready to see a bit more of the world!  With that in mind, we developed a special travel program for our Buckskin & Shadyside groups that gives them the best of the on-grounds Harmony experience while mixing in some off-grounds trips.

Our Bucksin & Shadyside groups go on approximately 4-6 trips throughout the 8 weeks of the summer.  In the past, trips have included bowling, Tomahak Lake Water Park, Medieval Times, a behind-the-scenes tour of Giants Stadium & soccer clinic with the New Jersey Red Bulls, Somerset Patriots games and more!

For the Summer of 2011, we were proud to announce the addition of multiple optional “late pick-up” SUPER trips to locations that require a bit more travel time.  Our Buckskin and Shadysides had the option of going on both of our SUPER trips to Camelbeach Waterpark and Point Pleasant Beach & Boardwalk. And don’t forget about our on-grounds Bucksin/Shadyside Lock-In!  While it’s not technically an off-grounds trip, it is one of the most unforgettable events of the summer!  For more information, click here.

When off-grounds on a trip, campers are accompanied only by Camp Harmony staff members.  We maintain all of our strict ratios and an unparalleled level of supervision.  Our trip coordinator is not only a Red Cross certified lifeguard but is also trained and certified in First Aid & CPR.
