Door-to-Door Transportation
Don’t worry – we have transportation covered!

Each year, a BRAND NEW fleet of passenger vans is used in order to assure safe, comfortable, door-to-door transportation, providing the shortest rides possible – meaning your children get to enjoy more of our grounds and less time stuck in traffic!  All vehicles are equipped with seat belts, air-conditioning, and car seats/boosters (as needed). 

Each van has both a Driver and Van Assistant with all our Van Drivers possessing a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) as issued by the State of New Jersey.  All vehicles are certified for safety by both the Warren Police Department and the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission.  In addition, van drivers have completed our own transportation safety training.  Drivers are not permitted to talk on a mobile phone while the van is moving and only appropriate music and radio stations are permitted.  No campers are allowed ride in the front seat of any camp vehicle and we comply with all NJ state regulations concerning child & booster seat use.

New Jersey law requires that all children younger than 8 years and under 80 pounds, ride in an appropriate car seat or booster.  Please be assured that we will provide the correct one depending upon age, height and weight of your child as listed on your medical form (when you register). 

A word about our drivers.  Our van drivers (and van assistants) are 100% our own staff.  This means that when your camper steps on the van, their day at Harmony had already begun!  Our van drivers have not only met the rigorous NJ Motor Vehicle Commission standards needed to attain their CDL (including a road test) but they have also completed all of our in-house training and are all educational professionals.  They are the same warm, friendly and nurturing staff that we employ as our Group Leaders so you’re guaranteed to have your children being driven back-and-forth to Camp by someone you can trust.

Transportation is included with your tuition.  We know that sometimes you’ll need to come early to pick-up your child for a doctor’s appointment or other scheduling conflict and that’s a’ok since that spot on the van is yours, regardless!  This means that if plans change at the last minute, there’s always a spot for your child on their van.

HarmonyPlus Before & After Care
Need to get to work early or stay late?  We offer our special HarmonyPlus Camp Care every single morning and afternoon (although we do ask that you sign up in advance of the summer).

HarmonyPlus AM is our morning pre-camp care program, beginning at 7:30am and running through the start of camp at 9:00am.  Children enrolled may be dropped off at the designated point any time after 7:30am.  We provide activities, a light breakfast and, of course, the supervision Harmony has always held paramount.  Besides the HarmonyPlus Program Coordinator, the younger (3’s, thru 6’s) and the older (7 and up) campers will each be staffed by a Camp Harmony Group Leader and camp counselors.

HarmonyPlus PM is our afternoon post-camp care program, running from the end of Camp until 6:00pm.  Children enrolled may be picked up at the designated point any time after 4:00pm until 6:00pm.  We provide a rotating program schedule (including some Camp favorites!) as well as the same above supervision.

Please remember that this special program will be open to enrolled Harmony campers only! The acceptance of day-to-day campers into the program will be determined based on our numbers and if we have space.
